About the Project
Social Azaadi (Social Freedom) was a digital marketing company started by me and two other friends in Bangalore, India. The main idea was to help startups and SMEs build their web presence, design marketing collaterals, create web applications and mobile applications, implement SEO, etc. The firm also specialized in online and offline branding and promotions.
"The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do." - Steve Jobs
The three of us realized the importance of digital transformation for brick and mortar businesses in India at a time when the .com boom was trending. Many startups were eager to showcase their brand and ideas online but lacked the expertise and know-how to target the right customers and portray customer-centricity in the same way as they did offline.
As a team, we completed over 10 projects in a period of 1.5 years with over 90% customer satisfaction. We worked remotely or in-person to clearly identify the needs of the project, gather the client requirements, explain the standard operating procedures, establish a project roadmap and facilitate an overall streamlined experience.
Exciting Highlights
- Digital marketing firm.
- Mixed bag of technical and marketing services.
- Simple, fast and optimized solutions.
The biggest challenge of operating the firm was to maintain profitability in the wake of strong competition from medium and large enterprises in a quickly saturated market.
